EXPERIENCE
Mr. Taylor's practice includes representation of commercial and individual landowners, land developers, manufacturers and other businesses in real estate, land use and other complex litigation matters. Prior to joining ECG in 1998, Mr. Taylor practiced in Northern California litigating employment and product liability matters.
Mr. Taylor's representative defense victories include the favorable settlement of claims against a landowner sued for remediation of underground fuel storage facilities; summary dismissal of fraud claims associated with the negotiation of a commercial sublease; and the favorable settlement of fraud and conversion claims brought by creditors of a bankrupt foreign manufacturing company against the purchaser of that defunct company's assets.
Mr. Taylor's representative plaintiff victories include a unanimous jury verdict for nearly $4.8 million in an eminent domain proceeding where the condemning public agency claimed fair market value of just over $2 million; a fraud jury verdict in excess of $1 million in a professional malpractice action; a judgment quieting title to Southern California ocean view property.

MEMBERSHIPS, PUBLICATIONS AND ACTIVITIES
Mr. Taylor is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal and the U.S. District Court's for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of California. Mr. Taylor is a member of the Orange County and the American Bar Associations and the American Inns of Court. Mr. Taylor also serves as an attorney coach for a local high school in the Constitutional Rights Foundation's annual Mock Trial Competition.
