EXPERIENCE

Mr. Lazo's practice includes representation of commercial real estate developers, landowners, shipyard owners and manufacturing businesses in real estate, contract and other complex commercial disputes. Prior to joining ECG, Mr. Lazo defended contractors and residential home builders against construction defect class actions. Mr. Lazo also represented primary and excess insurers against bad faith, indemnity and contribution claims; health care facilities in lease disputes; and employees in discrimination and wrongful discharge actions.

EDUCATION

Mr. Lazo graduated, cum laude , from the University of California , Irvine in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences. Mr. Lazo earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School at Los Angeles , California in 2001.

MEMBERSHIPS

Mr. Lazo is a member of the State Bar of California, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He is also a member of the Orange County and American Bar Associations.
